While many of you may still bristle at the “Midtown Village” concept, there is no denying it’s taking off in a major way. Add to the list that includes Lolita, El Vez and so on a new spot called Apothecary, which its creator describes as “a bespoke cocktail lab” on 13th between Sansom & Chestnut. Oh, and you probably know said creator: Bruno Pouget, who’s previously had his hand in Caribou Cafe, and presently is the brains behind the shore spot Blue in LBI. Personally, we’ve always dug the bar-as-pharmacy metaphor — NYC’s Barmacy, anyone? — so we’re game. And for all you gorgeous types with headshots out there, they’re presently hiring.
