Food Blob: It’s Not “Drunkorexia” If You’re Doing It Right

· Philly’s own Dr. Bunnell of the Renfrew Centre for eating disorders has a new one for ya: Drunkorexia, which is what it sounds like, and frankly, doesn’t really work. We know. We’ve tried. Nevertheless, she says, “Binge drinking is almost cool and hip, and losing weight and being thin is a cultural imperative for young women in America. Mixing both is not surprising, and it has reached a tipping point in terms of public awareness.” PS, we caught up on Lipstick Jungle over the weekend and please God do not cancel this show. Even when you factor out how it’s the premiere cultural document in favor of drunkorexia, it still rules. [DailyMailUK]
· Speaking of: With all that money you’re saving on food, you can totally pick up a $237 bottle of Jameson. Or, as we like to call it, “the drunkorexic’s cocaine.” Which does not leave room for whatever drunkorexics call actual cocaine, but whatever. Not our problem. [Inky]
· Foobooz has made a potentially shocking and awful discovery: Is The Melrose for sale? Most dishonorable. We refuse to believe. [Foobooz]
