It’s been a good year and half since The Water Works opened and Craig LaBan gave it a drubbing from whence it seemed impossible to ever recover. But, anecdotally, we visited on Saturday night and in fact, it was a truly great experience — and one you should definitely earmark as the weather starts to get warmer and what is easily the city’s most cinematic terrace opens for cocktails and dinner. At any rate, though, we saw this and just had to ask the maitre d’ for a copy: It’s The Water Works’ water menu, which is usually presented with their (actually quite formidable) wine list. It is a study in fabulous superfluous-ness, no? And just so you know, we didn’t spring for “Bling H20 Museum Edition,” but hey: On the other hand, the Phoodie rap album hasn’t dropped yet, either. Peace.

420 Water? Sweet.

The place is great when the weather is nice. Wouldn’t recommend sitting outside in the summer time though, unless there’s an especially fine breeze blowing in off the Schuylkyl–in which case I would recommend keeping your glass covered with a coaster when not drinking.
why isn’t schuykyll punch on the menu?
