Say hello to Pike Place Roast, the new “everyday” brew that was debuted today at all Starbucks retailers. Pike Place Roast has a bold flavor with subtle favors of cocoa and toasted nuts, says Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz. In other words, it’s a friggin’ cup of coffee. All customers inside of a Starbucks today between 12 to 12:30p.m. found themselves greeted by a free 8oz. of Pike Place Roast, meaning that this was the first time in roughly 10 years that anyone actually got a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
