The beauty of Center City Sips — the happy hour promo headed up by the Center City District — is the sheer volume of drinking establishments involved here. A whopping 70 bars and restaurants are in on the ‘Sips this year, and you don’t need a PR whiz on staff to know that alone can finally put the Seat Savers controversy to rest. (Although it will always crack us up in that Object-Lesson-In-Hokey-PR way, and for that, we are grateful.) Anyway, it all gets underway this evening at 5pm.
