
Ok, so times are tough and everyone is complaining about gas prices, the Euro, and calling someone to fix the economy (coincidentally, anyone know a good plumber?). Soaring food prices are nothing new, but one industry stands to weather the tightening of America’s belt better than others: Candy. Apparently Americans may not be willing to buy a Big Mac, but a Reese’s Cup still calls their attention. Just supposin’, how about we give a sample menu of the new Sweets Diet that will be all the rage this summer.
Appetizer: Skittles, in place of a Fruit Cup.
Main Course: Snickers bar, served with Butterfinger BB’s and broken Kit Kat bars on the side. Knife and Fork included.
Dessert: Something light, probably a Three Musketeers Bar. Even though we are on a budget, we still have to look after our figure.
