· It’s been a week since the new gastropub Kite and Key opened up in the Art Museum area and it seems to be getting along just fine. Their menu is meant to compliment their large selection of beer. Sounds good to me [CityPaper].
· From July 28th to Jul 31st, Old City restaurants will be offering their interpretations of Surf & Turf eats. Oddly enough, Campo’s is featuring a cheesesteak with peppers and onions. Um….Okay. So it could be Turf, but where’s the Surf? [FooBooz].
· Hopefully, you haven’t been affected by this tomato and salmonella deal. The FDA hasn’t even been able to prove that tomatoes are the problem. But it gets worse, because the latest veggies to be added to the Salmonella Suspect List are Jalapeños. It’s just not fair, they can’t prove shit. This better not affect my Mexican food addiction. Make as much salsa as you can before Jalapenos get pulled for weeks [KYW].
