Capriccio Café, the self proclaimed first true coffee and espresso bar in Philadelphia, is adding another location. The new place with be on the Ben Franklin Parkway in the New Café Cret Pavilion. Officially named Capriccio Café & Espresso Bar at Café Cret (can we add some more ‘C’ words to that title please) is setting their opening for this September. Like the past Capriccio locations both food and drink will be offered at the Café, however the new location will offer lots of outdoor seating and an in-laid tv screen on the outside of the building featuring Center City sites. The new location hopes to welcome existing customers as well as the commuting and tourist crowds and simultaneously create a relaxing area on the parkway.
While we are on the topic of openings. The storefront on 34th and Walnut for the second Naked Chocolate Cafe location is starting to show signs of life. White paper printed with the store’s logo hangs in the large storefront windows and there is a sign on the door stating that the store will be ‘Coming Soon’.
