· Rick Nichols stood in for Craig LaBan this week as he reviewed Zahav, the Israeli restaurant in Old City. Nichols praises Zahav for its authenticity and creative cocktail list, and awarded it 3 bells. We like Nichols’ flattering prose, but we also wonder how LaBan feels about losing his column for a week. Something tells us next week’s selection, The Devil’s Den, better be careful. [Inky]
· That stomach virus US Olympians keep coming down with? It might not be China’s fault. Back in February, the USOC decided to ship its own meat to China to safeguard its athletes. Now with different athletes falling ill to some sort of norovirus, maybe a home cooked meal hasn’t helped. [TeamUSA]
