Well, gang, it’s that time of year again: As of this Thursday night, the 2008 crop of Beaujolais wines will be out, prompting the giving of gifts, the raising of the glasses, and the sampling of that which pleases the palate. It’s like Christmas but with people you don’t have to stay related to! And Tria is raising the bar for what it means to truly celebrate this wonderful secular holiday. Hot off the email:

Recently tried one of Tria’s new additions to its “Funky Reds” list (can’t recall the name, and it isn’t on their website’s list yet). I was excited by all the barnyard and rotten veggies in that glass. Great stuff if you go in for a wine with armpits. Loved it!
