Something just seems wrong…nay…evil, about a Tastykake product that is completely just-out-of-the-wrapper-delicious in appearance but utterly inedible in reality. Being forced to stare at one of these mind-bending little crystal confections could probably serve as an effective torture method somewhere in the world. Here in Philly, though, it’s just another way to ring in the yule and spread a little holiday joy.
So the good elves at the Tastykake workshop have baked up some nice glass tree ornaments for us this year. The ornaments are available in Peanut Buter Kandy Kake, Butterscoth Krimpet, and Choco-Donut form. They come packaged in a hexagonal cardboard box surrounded by the old-fashioned edible varieties of the klassics and some festive packing material.
If you want to fatten up your Christmas tree a little, head over to the Tastykake shop and check out their wares.

What a great gift idea – brings back memories – thanks for the tip!
I’ve lost my Butterscotch Krimpet ornament. Do you know how I can get a new one?
