Brigid’s is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, and continues to fly under the radar. Boasting a robust craft beer list and good eats, locals consider this bar their living room. In an area teeming with Bohemia Moms and Urban Saloon patrons, Brigid’s has always been an oasis for us.
We are all over the $5 Bowl of Chili and Miller High Life, Yards Brawler, or Sly Fox Dunkel combo meal. While there are other worthy menu offerings, this warm hug of spicy brisket stew and brew is just what the doctor ordered to shake a cough and sniffles. A box of Kleenx won’t do you nearly as much good and you’ll drop the same coin.
God Bless You, we’ll see you at the bar.
Brigid’s is located at 726 N. 24th St. (215) 232-3232

This is an awesome special, but it took me 4 trips to the bar to actually get it. First we were sat in the dining room (not available there), then they were out of Yards, then they were hosting a private party.
The Brawler is the best Yards offers and the chili is phenomenal, so it’s still probably worth four trips… but don’t go with only $5 in your pocket.
Oooh, thanks for the tip on this special. Brigid’s is just down the street from me, and while I love their whole menu, $5 for a bowl of hot chili and a cold beer at the bar may keep me out of the formal dining room.
fully in agreement that the Brawler pretty much justifies Yards’ continued existence.
Yards Brawler wasn’t available from my understanding for a couple weeks. High life is fine…Glad to see they added another option other than brawler….I wouldn’t go to Bridgid’s with less than 5 bucks ever. I’ve never been there were I didn’t spend more of drafts than i did on food. always leave full of good beers and tasty eats….Upside Chicken and Sausage Pot Pie is my new addiction!
