Adam Gertler, co-owner of Philadelphia’s now-defunct BBQ/frat party hybrid The Smoked Joint and non-winner of Food Network’s The Next Food Network Star, seems to be just too charming for Food Network to let go of yet. Premiering Monday, January 19, Gertler will enter your living room as host of FN’s new series Will Work for Food, where he plans to give you a behind-the-scenes look at jobs in the food industry. Imagine Dirty Jobs, and then imagine food and then imagine Adam Gertler — that’s kind of what it’s gonna be like. He’s going to forage for truffles and dig in a wine cave and stuff. And then maybe eat things. We’ll see.
