Have you been feeling a bit hurt, nay, forlorn, since Stephen Starr, Philly’s own Genghis Khan of upmarket dining, flew the coop to stay up late with the big boys in New York City? Well, you’ll just have to accept that Philadelphia may no longer be Stevie’s One-and-Only, but if you just miss the sight of the man you can catch his evenly tanned face tonight on the most consistently cool competitive food show since the original Iron Chef. Like we told you in October, Starr is going to be on Top Chef. Tonight.

This ain’t just any old episode either, it’s the annual Restaurant Wars episode, sorta the Super Bowl of Top Chef, only way better.  It’s not entirely clear from this promo clip, which also teases us with shots of some greasy lovin’ between contestants Joseah and Leah, whether Starr will be judging the Quick-Fire Challenge or the main competition. Either way, though, we’re excited to see him try to fit his personality into a 15 inch T.V. screen. Maybe he’ll even give a sweet shout-out to the town that gave him his super-powers.

Top Chef airs on Bravo at 10pm and 11pm tonight.
