Yogorino Going Into The Old Sushi On The Square Spot

yogorino.png

Sez our tipster regarding the forthcoming Yogorino up Rittenhouse way:

…Opening sometime soon on 20th and Locust where Sushi on the Square used to be. It’s an Italian frozen yogurt store that will feature healthy, probiotic, and tasty yogurt and a variety of fresh toppings. It’s eco-friendly, too.

Isn’t all yogurt eco-friendly?

It seems that the Yogorino.us website is gone. I looked at it a couple days ago and it wasn’t loading images, and now the site has disappeared altogether.

I wonder if it was not, indeed, an american offshoot of the Japanese brand (see yogorino.com) and they ran into some name rights issues.

Anyway, I guess we’re not going to be seeing it so soon. Too bad, I really want some frozen yogurt that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg, Phileo.

It is actually the same as the Japanese brand but the Japanese brand is actually the Italian brand…I found out that the company is from Italy…I hope they open soon!

It was just OK ;{. Only one flavor with lots of choices for toppings. Sort of sour tasting- but it is supposed to be that way [ we were told].
