Tub Gin: Barely Legal

Baby says that gin makes us mean. Baby’s giving the gin too much credit.

About a month ago, an elaborately wrapped parcel showed up on our doorstep — it was a care package from Philly ad agency Red Tettemer’s new brand, Tub Gin. And seeing as how we can’t get enough of the spirit they called “Mother’s Ruin” back in olden times, we drank it up — and lo, it was good. Where Tanqueray might be too abrasive for some, and new brands like, say, Junipero might be a little too smooth, Tub Gin sat right in the middle (and also happened to collide effortlessly with Dirty Sue). Also? It got us good and drunk. At the time, we were politely asked to hold off on writing about Tub, as it was still then in the approval process to get picked up by the PLCB. Well, good news: Tub Gin is now available on pawineandspirits.com. For the moment, it’s available online only — but that’s where you kinda make out. Order some up from the site, and you’ll be treated to the same nice parcel that we got, lovingly packaged with care by the Tub Gin folks themselves.
