Even though restaurant week is far gone, Le Bec-Fin is keeping the spirit alive with its new $35 pre-fixe menu. But before you rush over, beware of the strategically planned hours that apply to the deal. You can only get the $35 deal Monday through Thursday from 5:30-6:30 and then again from 9-10pm. So either plan to eat kinda early, or super late.Beard finalist/tight Phoodie bro Chef Michael Solomonov has teamed up with Lior Lez Sercarz to bring a Night of Spice Dinner to Zahav. The five-course dinner showcases different spice blends and pairs each course with its own wine. To make it even more special, the dinner with be served in The Quarter at Zahav, their private 24-seat dining room. It’s on March 12th, and costs $85 per person. The Philadelphia Flower Show is right around the corner, which of course means time to go on an eating and drinking tour of Philadelphia. City Food Tours has put together a 3-hour tour including eating hand-crafted food with specialty botanical ingredients and a planting demonstration. If the taste of flower petals doesn’t settle too well, head over to McGillin’s Olde Ale House and get rid of the taste with special ‘Bella Italia’ inspired beverages.
