We were so looking forward to this event. Marty Jones, Dave Chicura, and our man Archie from Oskar Blues were at Tria with Brian O’Reilly from Sly Fox. Cheap cans of Dale’s Pale, Pikeland Pilsner, Ten FIDY, and Dunkel Lager were on hand to help celebrate.
It ended up being a who’s who event, with superbeer author Randy Mosher making an appearance, Jimmy Mears, Susie Woods, Beer Week Mastermind Jennie Hatton, and many friends stopping by to tie one on. Who doesn’t love canned beer, too? A shiny, chilly can just refreshes you in a way that nothing else does. And these guys have mastered canning and the amazing brews within. Probably two of the most underrated breweries in the lower 48.
Agreed, these beers RULE! And they are really cheap- lots of places carry them for 3 bucks a can- one of your best drinking values around! Beats the shit out of a can of PBR!
Yes, it’s très cool that one can get a draft Sly Fox at the Phillies game, or quench your thirst watching the game at home with a can of the stuff.
