Rumor has it that Mark Summers of Double Dare and Unwrapped fame is thinking about hosting/producing a reality show about Valerie Safran and Marcie Turney‘s 13th street empire, which includes Lolita, Bindi, Grocery and Open House.The concept makes a lot of sense; the restaurant industry is rife with drugs, sex and drama. Add the fact that Safran and Turney are a lesbian couple and you’ve got yourself a show! That is, if you’re down with that sort of craziness. From everything we hear, Safran and Turney don’t seem the fire and gasoline type of couple; in fact, they seem like pretty cool people to work for, and the staff of said restaurants also don’t seem the slutty incestuous type. So maybe it’ll be more like Ace of Cakes than I Love Money, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
