Sure, there’s the Jersey Turnpike cocktail, but we can’t think of many other beers, wines or spirits that pay homage The Garden State. So those of you on the other side of the Walt Whitman will be psyched to hear about Flying Fish‘s new “Exit Series” of big-bottle beers, which pays homage to that great state’s legendary turnpike. The first in the series, Exit 4, is an American Trippel is named for the exit nearest Flying Fish Brewing Company’s headquarters; and it’s a Belgian because that’s how the Flying Fishies roll. (They were one of the first American craft breweries to go Belgian.) This one’s a limited edition, so get it while it lasts; it’s currently on sale on both sides of the bridge.
