La Chula es Puebla opened last month at 2nd and Master, and after passing it almost every day, I finally stopped in for lunch. The place is a classic Mexican taco spot, complete with tons of sodas and Mexican neo-folk blasting from the stereo. The waitress brought out homemade tortilla chips and two varieties of hot sauce with the menu. As a long-time hot sauce enthusiast, my interest was instantly piqued. (At the height of my hot sauce obsession my private collection was somewhere between 10-15 bottles at any given time.) Believe me when I say: U wish U had these hot sauces! The grilled steak burrito was huge and delicious but I’m going back… for the hot sauce.
