Does the combination of the words “chocolate,” “wine,” and “Solomonov” sound as appetizing to you as it does to us? If it does, and if you’re free on the evening of Thursday, June 11, you should go right ahead and make a reservation at The Quarter at Zahav for their Five Course Chocolate Tasting Dinner. Michael Solomonov, of course, is the head chef at Phoodie fave spot Zahav, which has quickly risen to become the one of the city’s hottest restaurants thanks to its delicious modern spin on traditional Israeli cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. For the Tasting Dinner, Solomonov will be cooking with the chocolate of world-renowned chocolatier Michel Cluizel, who pioneered the idea of sourcing chocolate from a single plantation. Boutique Wines will also be on hand to pair each course with a special selection. Posting the menu so far ahead of the event might be a bit cruel, but that’s a chance that we’re willing to take:
Guhhhhhhh. It’ll run ya $85, excluding tax and gratuity.
Zahav, 237 St. James Place. (215) 625-8800
