You might recognize Katie Cavuto. This ambitious local girl is both a chef and a registered dietician, who’s been tapped as a talking head for any number of local TV news segments on living and eating healthy; and her business, Healthy Bites Delivery, is a notable personal chef service that brings a farm-to-table ethos to the world of catering. All of this and more nabbed her a spot as a contestant on The Food Network’s The Next Food Network Star, which premiered its new season on Sunday night. Collin Flatt got to sit down with Katie at Amada, and above, you can check out their conversation. The Next Food Network Star airs on Sunday nights at 9PM.
