Rita’s Swedish Fish Is The Ish

sweidhsfishwaterice

So there it is. Rita’s Water Ice’s latest monstrosity staring back at you with blood red eyes, begging you to slizzurp every last sugary ounce of its beauty. And lo, it IS beautiful. Not too many Rita’s fans in the HQ, but damn if I can’t find better penny candy than Swedish Fish. They’re delicious. Reminds me of the snack bar at the swimming pool growing up, and to this day, if someone hands me that fake-ass ‘mixed’ bag of Swedish Fish that contains other colors besides red, you’re getting the hairy eyeball. Try me.

So what flavor is Swedish Fish flavor? It’s not strawberry, mixed berry, raspberry, or anything else. It’s Swedish Fucking Fish. And damn if they didn’t get it spot on.

P.S. You get a bag of Swedish Fish when you order it. Booyah.

ITS.NOT.GOOD (I tasted it last night – actually, Rita’s suck all over, but my lady wanted ices. Wish we had Ralph’s or Uncle Louie G’s here in Philly)

Orange & yellow swedish fish are where its at. Red fish suck. Wanna fight? :)

If you hate the Red Fish, why did you get the water ice? It’s obviously the red one. And yes, I always throw down over winegum candy. It’s truly the only fight worth having these days.

I love me the red fish, so I will be all about the Swedish Fish Ice (oh, that does not sound tasty…)…although my first love has been the mango.

CEF – read my comment again “…but my lady wanted ices”. I tasted hers. She loves the red fish (that’s one reason we belong together, she eats the red, I eat the orange & yellow and we throw the green at people we don’t like :)
She didn’t really like the red ice either. Too sweet.

Do you get chunks of red fish in the ice mix like you do with some of the fruits?

I like the red fish, but how is it different from say Rita’s regular red cherry flavoring. Maybe my palette’s underdeveloped.
