Beer Enthusiasts please note: The Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in West Chester will be hosting a “Saison-A-Thon” on August 20th at 6:30 pm. The event is a friend competition in which teams of Iron Hill employees will be crafting their own beers using 5 gallons each of the restaurants own “Saison” base. $5 per person gets you admittance as well as a 4 oz. sample of each beer and a scorecard to evaluate each brew. If you can’t make it out there on the 20th, don’t worry – the best batch as voted by the attendees will be produced and sold at Iron Hill so you can still get in on some of the action without having to taste some maybe less-than-stellar beers in the process.
