Tonight: Taste Of The Nation Promises Great Food For A Good Cause

taste of the nationTaste of The Nation, Share Our Strength‘s nationwide culinary benefit to stop childhood hunger in America, is happening tonight at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The city’s top chefs, including including 2009 Honorary Chairs chef/restauranteurs Jose Garces (Garces Restaurant Group/Amada) and Marc Vetri (Vetri/Osteria) will be in attendance, and there will be food from 60 of the city’s top restaurants, microbreweries and wineries. There will also be cocktails mixed by the mixologists from APO Bar + Lounge. One-hundred percent of the ticket sales go to support anti-hunger and anti-poverty organizations locally, benefiting: the Metropolitan AIDS Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA), Philabundance, as well as the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness.

Tickets are $75 in advance and $85 at the door.
