Admittedly, the bar for bowling alley food is set, quite naturally, pretty low. That’s kind of the point. So when we say that North Bowl has the best bowling alley food around, that’s praise that goes in two directions: The North Bowl menu is great because it doesn’t ever get too highfalutin (this is a place where Goldfish Crackers and Tater Tots are spoken of with the same reverence that some chefs use for ingredients like fennel or quince paste), but it’s also a staple because they’re doing stuff like Corn Dogs (and other foods that usually come off an assembly line and are orange) right. And by “right,” we mean “fearlessly decadent.” Our friends at North Bowl recently decided that their menu was finally ready for a close-up, and these very Mad Men-looking photos by Clint Blowers set them in just the right light. After the jump, enjoy a slideshow and mark it “ate,” Dude.
