We recently got befollowed by Stephen Starr’s Twitter. Whether or not it is real we found this tweet to be interesting:
“MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going back to my roots & will be booking comedians. Tangerine will now be called The Comedy Casbah.”
It might be a hoax, but if not, we’re down. Tangerine was worthless the last few years.
I too was fooled. However, @StarrRestaurant, the official SRO account has confirmed that the Stephen Starr account is indeed fake. I knew it the second he said “Korean short rib pizza”.
@TheLastestDish (Dallyn) put the fake account through the paces. Looks like the account holder couldn’t keep up…
But I liked the idea of a banh mi pizza. ;P
