The Annual BBQ Rib Cook Off is in full effect tomorrow at 1 PM. Last year, some crazy-ass amateur showed up, whooped everyone’s behind, and sold his BBQ sauce by the jar. Went by the name Mermaid BBQ. And he’s back.
Come to the Piazza and get filled up on professional and amateur offerings of Ribs, Brisket, and Vegetarian options. For $20 it’s All-You-Can-Eat BBQ, and lots of wonderfully tasty sides from A Full Plate Cafe. The professional division includes:

- North Bowl
- Darling’s Diner
- Q BBQ and Tequila
- Sonata
- Koozeedoo (a yet-to-be-open spot taking over the Copper space on N. 2nd Street)
- Mermaid BBQ (last year’s 1st place winner)
- Tower Investments (2007′s crowd favorite winner)
