Nope, this is for sure legit. While the wine shop definitely gives out boxes for mixed cases, Starr doesn’t buy by the mixed case. If it is his, there would be a number written in marker on the side and the address of the joint. The only thing that might save us here is that he wouldn’t just leave a box sitting out there for people to house. It might be full of non-alcoholic objects. We can only hope.

But realistically, the liquor store just keeps a stack of empty boxes on hand for people to use to more easily carry things out. Just having this box really has nothing to do with actually buying this particular wine. I mean it _might_, but probably not.

Maybe the box was used to transport other bottles. PLCB does that sometimes. I dont think he would be serving Barefoot. I would rather see the straw wrapped chiantis.

dawg, barefoot talking about awards is the wine equivalent of pabst’s 1898 blue ribbon. it’s not good wine.

Barefoot is the most highly awarded wine brand in the US under $15. Sounds like perfect Pizza wine to me.

Are you kidding? Stephen Starr is a man who knows what he’s doing – and as far as his wine choice? He picked the most awarded and affordable wine in the country. You can’t fault him for that. Get your nose out of the air.
