The grand opening for Sweetie Pie’s Diner is tomorrow, October 1st.October 14th is a busy day with two grand openings: Whipped Bakeshop in Fishtown and Square 1682 in the Hotel Palomar.Steve Gonzalez (Vetri, Brasserie Perrier) is opening Zavino sometime this month in Center City.Visit Deer Creek Herb Farms‘ Autumn Tea Party on Sundays, October 12th thru 26th. Located in Reading, why not make a day of it: Go for a drive and check out the leaves changing colors.And on October 25th, Fair Food Philly’s last Farm Tour for the 2009 season will be held at Paradise Hill Farm in Vincentown, NJ. The local blueberry harvesters have added cranberries to their crop. Check out the farm and their antique equipment. These tours always sell out fast, so register sooner than later.
