Second Time Around: South Philly Taproom’s New Menu

sptrThe South Philly Taproom has revamped their menu again. This time, the entire menu is hormones-and-yucky-stuff-free, but still with all-natural ingredients. Some of the old choices remain, others were omitted or streamlined. For instance, chicken can no longer be added to a salad but the fries and wild boar tacos remain, tasty as ever.

Along with the usual menu and draughts, a variety of daily specials are also available, such as pork loin tapas appetizer with seasonal roasted brussels sprouts and toasted baguette slices and Mexican hot dogs. Next time you’re, say, parading down Broad Street after a World Series Victory, give ‘em a shot.

I’ve been eating at SPTR for years and for the first time in a while I’m really enjoying the menu. I think Scott has finally found a sweet spot.
