OK, that headline sounds like 100 times grosser than we meant it to, but now that we have your attention: P.Y.T., Tommy Up’s burger joint in the Piazza At Schmidt’s is now featuring a milkshake designed by none other than Roots drummer/alternate mayor of Philadelphia, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson (pictured). The Questlove Shake is a bangin’ melange of Frangelico Liquor, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream. Wha? “Well, ?uest comes in frequently, and last month he tweeted out how much he loved our burgers & shakes, and he has like 900,000 followers,” says Up. “So that got picked up by the La Times food blog and they ran a piece on us. So last time he was here, we thanked him and asked him to come up with his own shake, so we have the ?uestlove on the menu it’s just a ‘?’ and a heart sign.” Awesome. So, uh, when is the Phoodie.info Shake gonna debut? We hear it’s made of half-a-box of Alpha-bits, New York Super Fudge Chunk and, er, beer. Sounds delicous, no?
