Antoine Amrani, the former pastry chef of Le Bec Fin, has started his own brand of chocolates, which, as he baldly writes in his mission statement: “…are simple luxuries and small comforts that will make you feel pampered and special.” We don’t know how you could say “no” to that. First off, the chocolates, individually and in their packaging, are beautiful (the decoration on some of the chocolates seems to be screenprinted or airbrushed). The website uses rapturous phrases like “enrobed with white chocolate” and “folded into milk chocolate.” The cheapest box of Amrani’s chocolates is a 4-piece ($13). A purchase seems to ensure that the chocolates will put a big luxurious robe on you and tuck you into bed. Buy them here or at their factory store in East Norriton.
