Last night, Philly’s own Jose Garces won his 2nd challenge in a row on The Next Iron Chef with his masterful umami-balancing. This high-stakes challenge (with only four chefs remaining) took place in and will finish out in the Iron Chef’s dominion, Tokyo.
The trailer for next week looks even more intense with all sorts of monstrous Japanese sea-creatures, Seamus Mullen limping around the kitchen in arthritic agony, and Donatella Arpaia spewing insults and contemptuous eye-rolling (Sunday, 9PM on the Food Network).
