While we have the opportunity to enjoy grog fests, corn dog roundups, and IHOPs, the sad truth is that a lot of people don’t. The good news is that there are a lot of folks out there trying to fight the good fight.
Memphis Taproom is getting all kinds of involved: They are supporting Manna’s effort to help families living with AIDS by selling Thanksgiving Pies. All you have to do is order them here and pick em up at the Taproom come November 24th.The Eagles have been doing their part to give back as well. Coaches’ and players’ wives were stationed throughout the Linc last Sunday collecting canned goods for the less fortunate. They are also accepting donations on their website.You don’t need to look to a bar or to the Birds to give this season, local churches have actually set up classifieds on craigslist to get the word out as well.Do what you can to help Philly. Keep on fighting the good fight.
