Holiday Cookbook Signing With IRON CHEF Jose Garces This Weekend

josegarces.jpgThis Saturday (December 19) from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Chifa, Philebrity Award winner Jose Garces will be signing copies of his cookbook Latin Evolution ($35, Lake Isle Press). With all of the press and amazing hub bub around him, AND the fact that everyone who goes gets a free pork belly bun, you may just be asking him to sign your face when it’s your turn in line. Keep your eyes out: Rumor has it that early next year, Chef Garces will debut Garces Trading Company, an all-in-one gourmet market cafe in Philadelphia (we’re hearing Beer and Bratwurst, in the Gayborhood).

Jose Garces, you are one amazing chef, better said, you are the best chef out there in my eyes. To see the next Iron Chef been integrated into Iron Chef America is always something I appreciate. To see that the next Iron chef has a hispanic background, that made me explode in tears. I am only 19 years old and I love to cook, (although I’m not good at it, but I try my best) I followed all episodes of becoming the next iron chef and for some reason I had great faith in you, I knew you had it in the bag. I live in LA and I would wish to be out there at your book signing day, but flying across the country is not in my budget at all so I’ll just wish you the best. Keep up the good “plates” and keep doing this great in the culinary field.

Can’t wait for your first face-off in Iron Chef America.
