We recently received this email and decided to turn it over to the learned denizens of you, the Phoodie.info commenting posse:
Hi-
I stumbled onto your site and I’m hoping you will offer me some advice. I’m throwing a 90th Bday party for my mom in Haverford, PA.
Can you perhaps suggest someone who would do a nice job on a chocolate desert reception? My brothers think chocolate fountains are tacky–I think old people might get a kick out of them, but I’m willing to seek out other options.
ANY advice, names, would be massively appreciated. I’m in Florida.
We suggest that you stick with the fountain idea, but replace the chocolate with cheese whiz: It’s something that any 90-year-old from Haverford would appreciate. Disagree or have actually helpful suggestions? Leave them in the in the comments section (just be nice.)

Ask on Chowhound, people that actually live in the suburbs and use professional caterers frequent that board.
