· If you haven’t noticed already, The Standard Tap has installed its massive twenty line tap system and even if you’re not a beer person, it’s goddamned pretty. If you are a beer person, it’s a challenge; first to get through all twenty beers gets a kiss from Ron The Bartender. But seriously, great job fellas; you’ve got a rather impressive arsenal flowing over there. That means on any given Wednesday, the downstairs beer total is up to 22ish if you count the tap in the fridge, as well as the locally brewed firkin that they pour every Wednesday.

· Speaking of locally brewed, Yards has recently renovated their tasting room and from what we can discern from their Facebook page, it looks to be a handsome place to drink a fresh beer. The new space overlooks the fermentation tanks and offers plenty of hang space, including booths, high tops, and of course, bar seating galore. Check it out for yourself over at 901 North Delaware Avenue.

· Now it’s time for Phoodie to put on our Phashionista hat for a moment: Philly Beer Scene‘s got a really cool thing going on over at the Fun with Beer portion of their website, but we’ve recently noticed their Beerrings post. While they at first seems like a thoughtful DIY gift for your beer-swilling valentine, upon further contemplation, we realized that they act as more of a ladyfriend litmus test. If she accepts beercap earrings, it’s probably time to take a long hard look at your relationship. Just sayin’.
