Northern Liberties’ Piazza Farmers Market is relaunching for this years season. That market, held at the Piazza, is Philadelphia’s largest and only independent farmers market. This year, there will be over 30 vendors and farmers from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, with all products produced locally. The market opens every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If local, fresh food isn’t enough to entice you to Northern Liberties, this market is also the only one in the city to offer free onsite parking.

What the hell does “Philadelphia’s … only independent farmers market” mean?
Not that I don’t want to make it out to the piazza this Sat. but umm…there’s plenty of free parking around Clark Park.
Independent means unaffiliated with a large not-for-profit with varying agendas.
On site free parking refers to not having to deal with the PPA, which kind of differs from “parking available”.
@JonP Do not question the Philebertisement.
I look forward to the Phoodie exposé on the Food Trust’s “varying agendas” and more information on how the Piazza market’s “independence” manifests itself.
