· If you’re into expertly-prepared fresh fish, reserve a spot on Fork‘s second-annual Summer Fisherman’s Trip and Dinner, July 17. Just how fresh, you ask? We’re talking a near 7-hour turnaround. Start with breakfast at Fork:etc. at 8 a.m., then it’s over to Atlantic City to hop on the charter boat for the fishing expedition (no experience necessary) with chef & fisherman Terence Feury and fishmonger Anthony McCarthy. Later that evening Feury will prepare the day’s catch for you. Read Rick Nichols‘ recap of last year’s trip here. Reservations are required; $200 per person, $50 per extra dinner guest.

· Mémé‘s second-annual 5-course pig feast is going down July 20 and with an all-star team of the restaurant’s own David Katz, Fork’s Feury, Zahav’s Michael Solomonov, 10 Arts’ Jen Carroll and Monica Glass, Bistrot La Minette’s Peter Woolsey and Bibou’s Pierre Calmels, it’s sure to be an otherworldly experience. We hate to torture you, but tickets to the 60-person event sold out the same day the feast was announced. Though there’s a long waiting list you can get yourself on, just give Mémé a call. Second best (or further torture?): Check out Drew Lazor’s photos and writeup from last year’s dinner.

· This last one isn’t a tradition but you could make it one. City Tap House is now offering Sunday brunch on their balcony from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., complete with live acoustic performances. A look at the new dishes: Blue Crab + Brie Omelette with shaved black truffle, asparagus and chive nage; Tap House Lox + Bagel with lemon cream cheese, red onion, capers, tomato and egg; Almond-Crusted French Toast with apple-raisin compote and maple mascarpone. As for brunch cocktails, how does a Spiked Arnold Palmer or a Bloody Mary sound? And of course, all the tap house’s beers will be available.
