Jose Garces is debuting his own line of coffee beans under the Garces Trading Company label. These tasty beans are available through his website and at the Trading Co. At least for now, you can buy four different kinds: the GTC Reserva, Formula 1111 Espresso, Decaffeinated Sumatra and a rotating Seasonal Selection. The press release got us pretty psyched about the beans, saying that Rojo’s Roastery’s head roaster (the guy who is roasting Garces’ beans) J. David Waldman’s “strong relationships with growers yield incomparably fresh coffee beans that are treated, from harvesting to shipping to roasting, with respect.” The coffee is pretty affordable, and since Garces tends to have good taste in these things, seems like they’re worth a taste or two. We know you guys don’t run on Dunkin.

This coffee is fantastic. I go by the Trading Co every two weeks to pick up a fresh bag of the Decaf Sumatra. I make it every day at work in my French Press. It’s pricey, but so worth it. I just ground some this morning for my automatic press, and it’s just as good that way too. Try it!!!
