Always been intimidated by Absinthe? Well here is your opportunity to make friends with the infamous spirit. Hudson Beach Glass is teaming up with Philadelphia Distilling and Triumph to host a one-of-a-kind Absinthe Tasting. On September 17th Philadelphia Distillery’s Vieux CarrĂ© Absinthe Superireure will be tasted two different ways as well as paired with several appetizers from Triumph Brewery. Guests will use rock glasses, which are hand-made in Hudson Beach Glass’s Strawberry St. studio, to taste the cocktails. Sean Gilvey, the co-owner of HBG Philly, will be showing you how he makes these rock glasses and at the end of the evening everyone gets to take one home. The tasting will be from 6:00 – 8:30 pm and will be held at HBG’s Strawberry Street location (26 S. Strawberry St.). Tickets cost $36 dollars and includes a rock glass for you to take home.
