Looking for a new way to impress your in-laws this Holiday season? Allow us to suggest ordering a pie from MANNA’s Pie In The Sky Bake Sale For Better Health. Every baked good sold helps to support MANNA (a program that provides nourishing, life-sustaining meals to those in our area who are coping with life-threatening illnesses). This year, MANNA’s goal is to sell and distribute over 10,000 Thanksgiving pies in the Philadelphia area. You can order pies online directly from MANNA, or from a pie seller (also listed on MANNA’s website). Three different pies (apple, pecan, and pumpkin) and three different cakes (carrot, cheesecake with cherry topping, and chocolate fudge cake) are available to choose from at $25 each. Orders must be placed by Noon on Friday, November 19. The pie pick-up dates are Tuesday, November 23 and Wednesday, November 24. You will get to choose the pick-up site and date that will be most convenient for you when ordering.

Sounds easy as… something to us. And even if you cannot convince your in-laws that you baked it yourself, you can at least gloat that it was for a good cause.
