The 7th Annual Brewer’s Plate takes place on Sunday, March 11 from 5-8 p.m. at the Penn Museum. Once again, Brewer’s Plate will be showing off the best of the best in the region, including premier breweries, restaurants, ‘artisanal producers’ and farmers.
It’s a win-win at the Plate. While munchin’ on local gourmet food and sippin’ on craft beer, you’ll be sending dollars to sustainability/locavore bros Fair Food. More from the press release:
“This year, the Brewer’s Plate will have a more spacious layout plus a new ‘speakeasy’ featuring local wines and spirits. The VIP lounge will occupy the fully-tented Warden Garden and offer comfortable seating, tutored artisanal tastings, gift bags, and live music. Victory Brewing Company’s Bill Covaleski (one of Brewer’s Plate’s founders) will showcase small-batch beers that otherwise wouldn’t be offered in wide circulation to the public.
On the interview stage plus mingling with guests in the VIP tent will be local farmers and producers, celebrity chefs such as Terrence Feury of Fork and Marcie Turney of Barbuzzo, City Paper food critic Drew Lazor, wine author Marnie Old, and beer writer Lew Bryson.”
Get your tickets here (hurry, they go fast every year), eat some awesome food and support a great local cause.
