· March 1st will see the opening of Cake and The Beanstalk, a bakery and coffee focused shop at 1112 Locust St. that will offer soups and sandwiches. Cake and The Beanstalk takes the lot left by Flying Monkey Deuce on Locust St. [Foobooz]

· The spring can’t come soon enough, especially for Little Baby’s Ice Cream which is planning to start their ice cream on a tricycle operation. Pete Angevine, Jeff Ziga and Martin Brown are getting ready to hit the streets this soon with flavors like Coffee Toffee, Blueberry Ginger, Birch Beer Vanilla Bean, Grilled Peach and Mint and others.
