Le Bec-Fin is offering a French wine dinner as an alternative to the typical St. Patrick’s night out. From 6PM on, $90 gets you a decadent four course meal, with wine pairings with every course. The meal opens with a gently poached seafood salad that goes with Cuvee Prestige Touraine. The course continues then with thyme butter brown butter bass that goes with a Cheverney 2009 wine. Next is a roasted lamb sirloin with tomato marmalade with the red wine, a 2008 Chinon. Dessert is a chocolate macaroon, pear ginger sorbet, pear brunoise and chocolate sauce. That’s paired with Vouvray 2008.
Le Bec-Fin is also hosting wine and cheese events in the upcoming months, one on April 13th and one on May 11th. Both events start at 6PM as well a $35 ticket gets you wine and cheese pairings, from Di Bruno Bros. Cheeses.
