Locavore, the most popular local food phone app, has now teamed up with Local Dirt, and on Earth Day, April 22, they’re launching the new “Where to Buy” ability, declared as the “Holy Grail” of future features by Lifehacker in 2009. Locavore is available on Android as of this week, and it is Free on Earth Day! Now you can find where to buy what you’re looking for, and it still has all of its great old features:

• Browse what’s in-season and soon to come
• Locate farms and farmers’ markets nearest you
• Find recipes for local, in-season items
• Post “I ate local” to Facebook

They’re also hosting “10 Days of Local”, where 10 people will be chosen each day to receive Amazon gift cards and eco-friendly grocery bags.
