World Cafe Live and the Mural Arts Program teamed up with Dock St. Brewery and Yards Brewery to create an event that lets Philadelphians appreciate two things that Philly does really well: Big ass murals and microbreweries. The Philadelphia Ale & Arts Adventure will feature a trolley tour that takes a look at the various world-renowned murals around the city (focusing on West Philadelphia), then capping off the evening with a night of great beer. The tour starts at the World Cafe Live, where you can grab a beer for the road and then takes you through various mural sites. The tour then stops at a brewery, either Dock St. or Yards depending on which date, for a tour of the brewery and then back to the World Cafe.

The Ale and Art Adventure is going to be run twice a month, alternating between tours of Dock St. or Yard’s, and will start at 5:30PM and last until 8PM. At the breweries, the tour guides will give you a history lesson about each respective brewery and their brewing processes, and of course some free samples. A refreshment spread will be waiting for you at World Cafe Live when you get back. Tickets can be bought online through The Mural Arts Program’s site, just show up with a Photo ID and they’ll check you off on their list.
