Yesterday, Foobooz reported that the replacement for Sola Olunloyo’s Speck at the Piazza at Schmidts (which was only days away from opening in March when he was reportedly locked out by developer Bart Blatstein) would be a new location of Raw Sushi & Sake Lounge. This will be Raw’s second location in addition to their popular location at 1225 Sansom Street.

Raw currently has a Craigslist posting looking for chefs for the new location, and when reached for comment, Blatstein told us they’re shooting for an early June opening.
